Use underground surveying and Deswik expertise as a Surveyor at Agnico Eagle’s Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, on a 7/7 schedule.
Reporting to the Survey Supervisor, you will support the Engineering Department at an underground operating mine. Your work includes development mark-ups, pick-ups, CMS surveys, gyro surveys, survey drawings, plans, and month-end calculations. You will help maintain accurate mine data while respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and environmental commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advance survey control points and enter data into Deswik
- Update Deswik level plans and issue heading updates
- Survey production holes, diamond drill holes, and service holes
- Perform cavity monitor surveys across stopes and raises
- Complete monthly development tracking and survey calculations
Requirements:
- Two-year Survey or Engineering Technical Diploma, or equivalent experience
- At least two years’ underground operating mine experience
- Proficiency with Deswik or related underground survey software
- Knowledge of total station setup and survey equipment calibration
- Valid G class licence and Microsoft Office proficiency
