Agilus by Synergie is recruiting a Workday Functional Consultant / Project Lead for a utilities organization. This remote contract role is listed in Calgary, Alberta.

Responsibilities

- Lead functional design, configuration, testing, and deployment for Workday projects.
- Configure and support legal entities, organizational restructures, union and collective agreement setup, supervisory organizations, security roles, and business processes.
- Support system stability, data integrity, and operational effectiveness in partnership with the HRIS team.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce manual work, and improve the user experience.
- Gather and address requirements with HR, Payroll, Finance, Digital, and business leaders.

Requirements

- Five or more years of Workday functional experience in one or more modules, such as Core HCM, Payroll,



Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, Recruiting, Perks, or Security.
- Experience leading Workday projects and configuration initiatives from requirements through deployment.
- Experience supporting organizational changes such as legal entity implementations, acquisitions, divestitures, restructures, or unionized workforces.
- Experience in energy, utilities, manufacturing, or another highly regulated industry is an asset.
- Workday functional certifications and experience with Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence are assets.
- Experience with HR technology roadmaps, governance, release management, and continuous improvement is an asset.

Compensation

$80.00–$100.00 per hour. Incorporated payroll.
