Install commercial HVAC ductwork in Edmonton with Total Plumbing & Heating, using construction drawings and strong troubleshooting skills. This is full-time, permanent work.
Total Plumbing & Heating seeks an experienced Journeyman for commercial HVAC and mechanical projects. You will independently plan sheet metal work, coordinate with other trades, and support apprentices. The position requires technical knowledge, safe practices, and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install commercial ductwork, fittings, and related sheet metal systems
- Read blueprints, specifications, and mechanical construction drawings
- Measure, cut, fit, and assemble sheet metal components
- Troubleshoot field issues and communicate project conflicts proactively
- Guide apprentices through instruction, feedback, and field practices
Requirements:
- Alberta Journeyperson Sheet Metal Worker Certificate or Red Seal
- Journeyman-level commercial sheet metal experience
- Solid commercial HVAC duct system knowledge
- Proficiency with applicable sheet metal hand and power tools
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with clean record
