This regular full-time Payroll Specialist role sits within Corporate Services Human Resources. You will manage accounting, remittances, payroll balancing, reporting, and year-end activities. The work requires Canadian payroll legislation knowledge, analytical problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead payroll funding and bank reconciliation activities
- Manage remittances, journal entries, and payroll accounting
- Validate balancing, EFTs, payments, and pay-cycle activities
- Support audits, T4/T4A preparation, and pension reporting
- Provide payroll guidance and maintain reports and analytics

Requirements:

- Postsecondary degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
