Lead hospital pharmacy operations at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre through dispensary supervision and parenteral services expertise in Abbotsford, BC. This part time role requires pharmacist registration and hospital experience.
As Supervisor, Dispensary/Parenteral Services, you will coordinate daily activities across dispensary, parenteral service, ward stock, and designated areas. The position includes staff supervision, workflow optimization, quality assurance, pharmacist functions, and interdisciplinary communication. Fraser Health provides the employment setting within Lower Mainland Pharmacy Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate assignments, staffing, workload, workflow, and shift performance
- Report shift activities and distribution issues to the coordinator
- Implement drug distribution safety and quality initiatives
- Orient staff and precept pharmacy learners across assigned areas
- Perform dispensing and pharmaceutical care functions as required
Requirements:
- Current Pharmacist registration with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
- Accredited Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program completion
- Three years recent relevant hospital pharmacy experience
- Teaching or staff supervision experience
- Knowledge of hospital drug distribution and clinical pharmacy practice
