Lead renewable energy estimating for Barton Malow Canada, applying electrical construction expertise to complex solar, storage, and transmission projects. This full time position reports to the Estimating Manager.

As a Senior Electrical Estimator, you will develop conceptual, detailed, and final estimates for large industrial projects. The work requires drawing interpretation, quantity take-offs, subcontractor solicitation, pricing strategy, and risk assessment. You will collaborate with operations, project management, engineering, leadership, vendors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead estimates for solar, storage, substations, and transmission lines
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Prepare quantity take-offs and complex electrical pricing strategies




- Level subcontractor bids and assess scope, pricing, and risks
- Present estimate results to senior leadership and stakeholders

Requirements:

- Eight or more years estimating large renewable energy projects
- Knowledge of EPC, Design-Build, and integrated delivery models
- Electrical, construction, or related degree, diploma, or certification
- Canadian standards, codes, and regulatory requirements knowledge
- Accubid, Bluebeam, or similar estimating software experience
