Strengthen construction safety programs with Stevens Group of Companies across Halifax Regional Municipality, applying practical field knowledge and clear communication. Occasional travel within Nova Scotia and New Brunswick is required.

Working alongside the existing Safety Advisor and operational leaders, you will align health and safety programs across Stevens Group. The position combines office-based program work with site visits, inspections, hazard identification, and corrective-action follow-up. Construction is a key focus, while SALUS supports forms, records, and document management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and update safety programs, manuals, policies, and procedures
- Visit sites and observe operations in practice
- Identify gaps and implement practical improvements with managers




- Support site-specific planning, inspections, and hazard identification
- Coordinate training and maintain safety records

Requirements:

- Three to five years of Health and Safety experience
- Construction experience, manufacturing, or operations background preferred
- Health and Safety training or education
- Robust communication, organization, and digital-system skills
- Clean driving record and ability to travel
