Ajax Fire & Emergency Services is hiring six full-time probationary firefighters. The role covers fire, medical, vehicle collision and specialized rescue calls, along with public education, training and upkeep of stations and apparatus. Shifts are 24 hours, including weekends and holidays.
Pay: $74,036.00 to $134,499.00

Key requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- NFPA 1001 Firefighter Levels 1 and 2 (IFSAC and/or Pro Board)
- Valid OFAI Candidate Testing Service Stages 1 to 3 including the swim test, valid through November 8, 2026
- Standard First Aid and CPR (BLS)
- Valid unrestricted Ontario Class DZ licence with a explicit driver's abstract on offer
