As an Intermediate Developer at 1Password, you will improve the systems supporting Device Trust authentication. This software engineering role emphasizes reliability, resilience, operational excellence, and service observability. You will work with backend services, application programming interfaces, distributed systems, application code, and cloud infrastructure while maintaining production code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and improve services powering Device Trust
- Improve reliability, observability, and operability through software
- Work across dependencies, networking, deployments,
and tooling
- Establish safer ways to validate critical system changes
- Participate in incident response and post-incident learning
Requirements:
- Two or more years of software development experience
- Experience with backend services, APIs, or distributed systems
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails
- Experience using observability tools; Datadog is valuable
- Care for testing, maintainability, clarity, and documentation
