As an Intermediate Mine Engineer - Planning, you will maintain the rolling 12-month mine plan for Alamos Gold’s Island Gold Mine. The work combines mine scheduling, production forecasting, infrastructure integration, and operational support. You will coordinate with production, geology, and engineering teams while adapting plans to resource models and changing priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop rolling 12-month mine plans and production forecasts
- Integrate infrastructure, construction, and maintenance requirements
- Align short-, mid-,
and long-range mine plans
- Conduct scenario analysis and trade-off studies
- Support reporting, budgeting, studies, and project justifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering
- Professional Engineer license
- Three to five years of underground mining experience
- Underground mine planning experience and narrow vein knowledge
- High proficiency in Deswik or equivalent software
