Analyze complex commercial credit at ATB as an Associate, Multi-Unit Financing, using financial modeling and CMHC expertise in a hybrid workplace.
As part of ATB Commercial Real Estate, you will support Directors and Relationship Managers across the CMHC book of business. You will underwrite credit requests, guide Mortgage Loan Insurance applications, and serve as a primary contact for CMHC underwriters. The work covers multi-unit residential financing, including MLI Select, portfolio reviews, and construction draws. Your analysis will support housing developments across Alberta while applying ATB policies, CMHC standards, and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze commercial credit applications and structure appropriate risk mitigants
- Perform financial statement and cash flow analysis
- Guide CMHC loan origination through funding
- Review amendments, draw requests, and portfolio accounts
- Monitor warning indicators and borrower financial updates
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, finance, accounting, or related discipline
- Three to six years commercial lending or credit experience
- Hands-on CMHC multi-unit product and submission experience
- Advanced financial analysis and cash flow modeling skills
- Solid communication, negotiation, and independent deadline management
