Evolve Martial Arts is a community-focused martial arts school in Maple Ridge, BC, dedicated to helping children build confidence, discipline, respect, focus, and strong life skills through Taekwondo.

We believe martial arts is about more than learning kicks and punches. It is about developing positive character, encouraging personal growth, building friendships, and creating a supportive environment where every child feels welcome and valued.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and responsible individual to join our team and help lead our growing after-school program.

About the Role

The successful candidate will help create a fun, protected, structured, and engaging after-school experience for children. This position includes school pick-ups, transportation to our martial arts school, and supervising children during after-school activities.

Responsibilities

- Pick up children from designated local schools and safely transport them to Evolve Martial Arts.
- Supervise and engage children during after-school hours.
- Assist with Taekwondo classes and age-appropriate activities.
- Encourage teamwork,



confidence, discipline, and respect.
- Organize games, activities, and supervised free time.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Communicate positively with parents, children, and other team members.
- Follow all childcare, transportation, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

- Responsible Adult (RA) certificate or ECEA certificate preferred.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Valid BC driver's licence and clean driving record.
- Experience working with school-aged children is an asset.
- Friendly, patient, dependable, and energetic personality.
- Passion for working with children and supporting their development.
- Martial arts experience is an asset but not required.

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15.0 per week
