Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable construction labourer to assist with building interior office spaces in a commercial setting.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with construction experience who wants steady, year-round work in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities : Construction Support
- Assisting with steel stud framing and drywall installation
- Assisting with installation of carpet tiles, vinyl plank, cove base, ceiling grid, ceiling tiles, and other commercial finishing materials
- Performing demolition and site preparation work as required
- Unloading and moving construction materials and supplies on site
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized job site, including daily site cleanup
Requirements :
- Construction experience required.
Must have experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic knowledge of blueprint reading
- Familiarity with steel stud construction, carpentry, plumbing, flooring installation, electrical systems, or HVAC systems is advantageous
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
- Valid driver’s license required (or reliable transportation to 3 job sites in NE Calgary)
