About the Role : Reporting to the supervisor, the Laborer position performs a variety of tasks and has various responsibilities that directly support the overall success of the team.

Key Responsibilities :

- Responsible for own personal safety and acts as a safety leader in all capacities
- Perform various manual tasks and assist with operations at our shop or on project sites throughout our service region, as directed by the supervisor
- Proficient and safe operation of power tools and hand tools
- Keep worksites, equipment, and tools clean and organized
- Facility maintenance
- Keeping an organized inventory of construction material
- Adhere to all safety programs and protocols required by Wild’s health and safety management system, as well as that of Wild’s associates, clients and customers
- Work collaboratively with clients and maintain Wild’s high customer service standards
- Participate in training and upskilling as required

Base Qualifications :

- Safety held as a core value
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic; self-managed with mínimal or no supervision
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to work professionally within a team and in a fast-paced environment
- Class 5 Driver’s license and clean Driver’s Abstract,



with the ability to provide own transportation to Coleman, Alberta
- Clean criminal record check
- Comfortable with construction and forestry tools (chainsaws, brush saws, grinder, Sawzall ect.)
- Ability to lift, carry, and push 50 lbs.
- Availability and flexibility to periodically work and stay away from home depending on project location and requirements
- Able to be clean-shaven and wear respiratory protection as required
- Committed to working overtime as required to meet project deadlines/commitments.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Previous experience in construction, forestry operations, or related field
- Mechanically inclined
- Comfortable with construction and forestry tools (chainsaws, brush saws, grinder, Sawzall ect.)
- Experience with loading, securing, and hauling equipment on trailers
- Equipment operating experience
- Proficient operating a vehicle with a manual transmission

Job Types : Full-time, Part time

Pay: $25.00-$29.51 per hour
