Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Carpenter’s Helper / Apprentice to support our carpentry team on residential construction and renovation projects. This role is primarily focused on assisting with carpentry tasks and developing hands-on trade skills, while also contributing to general site labour as needed.

Responsibilities

- Assist carpenters with: Framing, installations, and finishing work; Measuring, cutting, and material preparation; Layout and assembly of building components
- Maintain tools, equipment, and organized work areas
- Perform general labour duties as required, including site preparation and material handling, demolition work, site cleanup and organization
- Support skilled tradespeople as needed




- Operate basic tools and equipment under supervision
- Follow safety protocols and promptly report any hazards or concerns

Qualifications

- Physically capable and comfortable working on active construction sites
- Reliable, punctual, and able to take direction
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Previous carpentry experience required (residential preferred)
- Registration in a carpentry apprenticeship program is an asset

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
