Job Summary

Duties

- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport materials and equipment within the yard and to designated locations.
- Utilize forklift trucks to load, unload, and organize inventory efficiently.
- Assist with moving heavy items, ensuring proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, communicating effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or vendors during deliveries or pickups.
- Perform routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations within the warehouse yard.
- Assist in general warehouse duties as needed, including organizing inventory and maintaining a clean work setting.

Qualifications

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.



Class 3A preferred Experience operating forklifts; certification is preferred but not required if willing to be trained.
- Prior warehouse experience is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers.
- Knowledge of moving procedures within a warehouse or yard setting.
- Excellent customer service skills for positive interactions during deliveries or pickups.
- Reliable transportation to arrive on time for scheduled shifts. This position offers an opportunity to be an integral part of our logistics team, supporting efficient yard operations while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction at all times.

Pay: $18.38-$27.66 per hour
