Apply accounting, IFRS, and client service skills as an Accountant with MNP’s Assurance & Accounting team. Support informed financial decisions.
As an Accountant, you will develop technical skills across compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping, and tax. You will apply IFRS, GAAP, and ASPE knowledge while supporting diverse client needs. The work includes financial reporting, file management, and client engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop skills in compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping, and tax
- Apply IFRS, GAAP, and ASPE accounting knowledge
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and reports
- Review and correct discrepancies in financial entries and reports
- Collaborate with engagement teams and build client relationships
Requirements:
- Completed or pursuing a commerce or business administration bachelor’s degree
- Accounting or finance major preferred
- Completed or pursuing CPA PEP admission prerequisites
- Previous accounting office experience considered an asset
- Accounting and tax software experience considered an asset
