The Opportunity

Shape the Future of Energy Systems - Join WSP’s Overhead Transmission Lines team in Toronto and help design medium to extra-high voltage transmission lines, structures, and foundations that keep communities connected and powered. This role offers hands-on experience in power delivery and the chance to work on impactful projects across Canada and the US, supported by coaching and training to advance your career.

Your Impact

- Support the design and delivery of transmission line projects, studies, and initiatives across Canada and the US.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for power delivery systems.
- Prepare technical drawings, models, reports, and calculations that influence project decisions.
- Contribute to project reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and WSP quality expectations.

The Skills That Set You Apart

- Degree or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or related discipline.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Strong interest in consulting engineering and the power delivery industry.
- Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD or other design/analysis software.
- Previous engineering design or drafting experience, ideally in civil or electrical engineering.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Legally authorized to work permanently in Canada without sponsorship.

BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU :$66,700 - $88,400 MB & ON :$60,900 - $83,800 Atlantic Provinces & QC :$60,300 - $80,000
