- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to various locations
- Hook up and following safety procedures
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck
- Maintain accurate driving logs
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers using technology or in-person
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Qualifications :
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- 3 years proven experience as a truck driver or relevant position
- Mechanical abilities are a plus
- Excellent driving record with little to no traffic violations
- Strong communication skills and customer service-oriented
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
