The Mover-Driver safely operates a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) and leads the packing, transport, and delivery of customers’ belongings while providing outstanding customer service. A strong understanding of safe driving, moving procedures, and customer care is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers and deliver outstanding, professional customer service.
- Safely pack, load, transport, and unload customer belongings using proper equipment and techniques.
- Operate the moving truck safely and perform required pre
- and post-trip inspections.
- Accurately complete move paperwork and handle customer payments responsibly.
- Provide recommendations on services and supplies based on customer needs.
- Address customer concerns promptly and communicate issues to management.
- Organize and secure the truck and equipment at the end of each job.
- Maintain a clean, qualified appearance and represent MoveMate - TMM Logistics Inc. positively.
- Follow company policies and participate in required training and development.

Qualification Requirement
- Valid “G” / Class 5 driver’s license.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Previous experience driving a Commercial Motor Vehicle (preferred).
- Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy items safely.
- Knowledge of Provincial and Federal driving rules and safety regulations.
Physical Requirement
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry items throughout the workday.
- Frequent use of hands and arms for lifting, carrying, and handling items.
- Must be able to lift and move heavy items, including weights up to 100 lbs or more, with proper equipment and team support.
- Visual abilities required include close and distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
