Position Overview: Key Responsibilities: Truck Operations & Deliveries:
- Safely operate company vehicles for pick-ups, deliveries, and dump runs.
- Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are loaded/unloaded properly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and material movements.
- - Construction Labour:
- Assist in general construction tasks, including site preparation, cleanup, and material handling.
- Perform light carpentry work such as cutting, assembling, and installing wood components.
- Assist with drywall installation, taping, mudding, sanding, and repairs as needed.
Site Support:
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all site regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction, labour, or trade assistance preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate a truck safely for deliveries and dump runs.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move construction materials.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry and drywall is an asset.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Safety-conscious and reliable.
Work Environment:
- Active construction sites, indoor and outdoor.
- May involve heavy lifting, standing, bending, and working in varying weather conditions.
Other Requirements:
- Flexible and willing to adapt to different tasks as project needs arise.
Punctual and dependable with solid work ethic
Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Experience :
- Construction : 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
