We can teach you lighting. What we’re looking for is someone who enjoys working with people, knows how to sell and genuinely wants to keep getting better at what they do.
Lighting technology is always changing, so the learning never really stops.
What You Will Actually Do
You will work with retail customers, trades and designers, helping them find the right solution for their project.
You will:
- Ask the right questions and help customers make confident decisions
- Prepare quotes and work orders
- Follow up with customers and keep projects moving
- Learn about products and changing technology
- Work with the McLaren team to solve problems and create a great customer experience
You Might Be Perfect for This Job If...
You have at least 2 years of customer-facing sales experience. We don’t care what industry. What matters is that you know how to connect with customers.

Let’s Talk Money
The position offers a guaranteed $43,000 base salary plus 2% commission.

A Retail Schedule That Doesn’t Own Your Life
- No late nights
- Closed Sundays
- Closed statutory holidays
- Sunday is always a day off, along with one rotating weekday each week. As the schedule moves through its rotation, you’ll also get an occasional Sunday/Monday and Saturday/Sunday weekend.
