Hi!
I am actively looking for a part

- Start date: As soon as possible
- Location: Queensway/Mavis area, Mississauga
- Additional availability: Some flexibility for mornings, evenings, weekends, PA days and school holidays would be appreciated.
Occasional availability to care for a child who is home sick is also important.
Additional babysitting hours would be compensated separately at an agreed hourly rate.
Childcare Responsibilities
- Pick up our two school-aged children from a nearby bus stop at approximately 3:15 PM and bring them home safely.
- Pick up our toddler from daycare.
- Occasionally drive a child to an extracurricular activity, such as gymnastics.
- Supervise and actively engage the children in age-appropriate play and activities.
- Take the children to the nearby park or outdoors when the weather permits.

- Feed the children dinner and clean up afterward.
- Maintain a safe, caring and positive setting.
Household Responsibilities
- Light house cleaning and general tidying, including putting away toys, wiping tables and countertops, dusting, and cleaning floors as needed.
- Loading and unloading the dishwasher and keeping the kitchen tidy.
- Doing laundry for the entire family, including washing, drying, folding and putting clothing away.
- Basic cooking and food preparation.
- Occasional errands, including grocery pickup or shopping when not supervising the children.
- Helping keep the household organized and running smoothly.
Child safety and supervision are always the first priority, with household responsibilities completed around the children's needs.
Requirements
- Previous childcare experience, particularly with toddlers and multiple children.
- Valid full Ontario G driver's licence, clean driving record and reliable personal vehicle.
- Appropriate vehicle insurance for transporting children as part of paid employment.
- Recent police background check, including Vulnerable Sector Screening (ideally issued within the last six months).
- Current First Aid and infant/child CPR certification.
- At least two references from previous families or employers.
- Reliable, punctual, trustworthy, organized and comfortable with both childcare and household responsibilities.
Before starting, we would require a copy of your driver's abstract, proof of licence and vehicle insurance, First Aid/CPR certificate, and police check with vulnerable sector screening.
If this sounds like a good fit, I'd love to learn more about your experience and arrange a brief introductory call.
Ultimately, we are looking for someone to stay with us long-term.
