GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the forklift Driver will be responsible to work closely with the team with focus on outbound shipments for a local food industry to ensure smooth and uninterrupted logistics operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Receive product requirement lists every two hours from Inventory Associate.
- Stage finished good pallets into designated area for QA inspection.
- Re-wrap pallets as soon as QA inspection is completed.
- Follow strictly loading instructions (product wise) to ensure product safety.
- Unload dunnage trailers returned by customer and share information with Inventory Associate on timely basis.
- Report any excessive stock and non-compliance product returned by customer to Inventory and QA Associate.
- Put non-compliance product in the designated QA hold area in the warehouse.




- Maintain Trailer Inspection Form for every shipment to comply with Food Safety Standard.
- Safekeeping of company product and equipment, maintaining safety of yourself and those around you.
- Receive and relay information to management, as required.
- House keeping.
- Report any job-related incident immediately to warehouse manager or production team lead.
- Follow company rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Any other task assigned by warehouse manager or his substitute.

REQUIRMENTS:

- Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized and positive Manufacturing environment
- Ability to frequently lift, push and slide packages that can weigh between 50 lbs and 70 lbs
- Ability to work full-time, 12 hours Shift
- Attention to detail and good time management
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Positive attitude and team player

EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

- Highschool Diploma or equivalent
- Forklift experience
- Valid Forklift Certificate an asset
- Crane Training an asset
