Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery, ensuring high-quality production standards while adhering to safety protocols. This role requires a solid understanding of machining processes and the ability to read blueprints, with a focus on precision and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operation of industrial food processing equipment,
- Follow precise recipes and work procedures, monitoring and adjusting processing variables
- Performing product quality tests and data collection
- Monitor fryer temperatures and oil temperatures to ensure proper oil temperatures are met in order to maintain consistency in product.
- Cleans and changes slicing heads every hour to guarantee standard slicing consistency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the machining process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating lathe and milling machines.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety practices.
