Lead roadway maintenance for Webber, managing crews, traffic control, and equipment while supporting protected infrastructure operations. This position requires outdoor work and English communication.

As Lead Hand, you maintain contracted roadways, medians, signs, guardrails, fences, bridges, tunnels, and vegetation under Area Supervisor direction. Your work includes supervising Operators, verifying completed tasks, and responding to changing priorities. The position supports winter and summer maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise, inspect, and report Operators’ daily completed work
- Create, modify, and sign Book 7 traffic control plans
- Coordinate snow removal, sanding, and summer surface repairs
- Transport crews and equipment to assigned work sites




- Complete Toolbox Talks, job starts, and hazard analyses

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid minimum DZ driver’s license and good driving record
- Three years’ related construction or maintenance experience preferred
- Traffic control, first aid, dangerous goods, and WHMIS training
- Ability to work outdoors with heavy tools and equipment
