Apply Python and machine learning knowledge as a Teaching Assistant for Data Science Applications at the University of Ottawa’s Main Campus.

This CUPE Teaching Assistant supports DTI5125/GNG5125, Section A, during the 2027 Winter Semester. The assignment includes student contact, grading, and proctoring for a course with 60 expected students. Two positions are available under the supervision of Arya Rahgozar.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support students through 25 hours of contact
- Grade course work for 35 allocated hours
- Proctor course activities for five allocated hours
- Complete duties under an agreed work description

Requirements:

- Solid knowledge of Python and Jupyter Notebook
- Familiarity with TensorFlow, Weka, and machine learning libraries
- Knowledge of Git, Windows, Linux, and SQL
- Preference for thesis-based Computer Engineering graduate students
- GPA above 3.0 and machine learning thesis relevance preferred
