This Teaching Assistant position supports Quantitative Research in Criminology, course CRM3334, in the Faculty of Social Sciences. Working under Violeta Chitguan Urzua, the successful candidate will facilitate discussion groups, mark papers and exams, meet students during office hours, and proctor examinations. The assignment includes 78 total hours from January 1 through April 30, 2027. English is the language of work, and attendance at lectures may be requested by the supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitate discussion groups for Quantitative Research in Criminology
- Mark student papers and examinations according to expectations




- Meet students during scheduled personal consultations or office hours
- Proctor examinations for the assigned course
- Attend lectures when requested by the supervisor

Requirements:

- Honours Bachelor of Arts in Criminology or equivalent
- Ability to meet deadlines established by the supervisor
- Availability for in-person work at Main Campus
- English-language work capability
- Completion of mandatory legislated University training
