The main responsibility of the position holder is to carry out machining on a conventional lathe, milling machine, automatic sandblaster, grinder as well as tooling and assembly. Task description:
Read and interpret technical drawings, plans in order to carry out precision machining operations
Calculate dimensions and tolerances, check using measuring instruments whether the dimensions are accurate and conform to specifications
Sharpen and repair production tools.
Prepare fixtures and jaws for production.
Performs grinding, turning and milling as well as the assembly of finished parts.
Perform welding work as needed.
SCHOOLING AND TRAINING:
DEP Techniques machining
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
-1 to 3 years of experience operating conventional machines (lathe and/or milling machine)
Experience in the aeronautical industry-Asset
