As a Staff Engineer specializing in Developer Productivity, you will shape the engineering experience and technical infrastructure that enables a growing organization to build, test, and deploy software efficiently at scale. You will take ownership of the end-to-end developer experience, driving improvements across monorepo architecture, build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and testing infrastructure. Working within a high-growth B2B SaaS environment, you will help optimize the workflows used by more than 50 engineers developing a sophisticated data activation and AI-driven decisioning platform. You will identify development bottlenecks, introduce modern tooling, and establish scalable engineering practices that improve productivity and software quality. Collaborating closely with engineering leadership and product teams, you will influence technical strategy and help shape the organization's engineering culture. Accountabilities: - Own and continuously improve the end-to-end developer experience across build, test, and deployment systems, ensuring engineering teams can deliver software efficiently and reliably. - Lead the evolution, architecture, and optimization of a large JavaScript/TypeScript monorepo supporting more than 50 engineers. - Reduce build times and continuous integration (CI) bottlenecks through advanced tooling, caching strategies, architectural improvements, and workflow optimization. - Improve testing infrastructure, visibility, reliability, and execution speed across multiple engineering teams.



- Design scalable systems and workflows that accelerate developer iteration cycles while reducing cross-team dependencies and engineering bottlenecks. - Establish observability and operational excellence across build, testing, and deployment pipelines, ensuring performance and reliability. - Partner with product engineering teams to identify friction points, understand development challenges, and deliver solutions that improve engineering efficiency. - Define and promote engineering-wide standards for code quality, testing practices, and software release processes. - Drive technical initiatives that increase productivity across the organization, acting as a force multiplier for engineering teams. - Influence architectural decisions, engineering strategy, and technical best practices while collaborating with senior engineering leadership. Requirements: - 8–15 years of skilled experience in backend engineering, developer productivity engineering, platform engineering, or related software engineering disciplines. - Extensive experience with developer tooling, build systems, monorepo infrastructure, or internal engineering platforms. - Proven ability to support engineering organizations scaling from approximately 40 to more than 100 engineers. - Deep expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript ecosystems, including modern development workflows and tooling. - Strong understanding of systems design, software architecture, and distributed systems behavior. - Hands-on experience optimizing CI/CD pipelines, build performance, testing infrastructure, and developer workflows. - Strong computer science fundamentals, with a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
