Build Motive’s developer productivity backbone as a Staff Engineer, using Kubernetes and automated delivery pipelines across SaaS, Mobile, and Embedded products.

On the Developer Productivity team, you will shape systems supporting Golang, Ruby on Rails, Python, Kotlin, and C services. You will create secure, scalable distributed services and improve development, build, and release workflows. The work spans infrastructure, automation, and engineering enablement.

Key Responsibilities:

Define direction and initiatives for the team and platform

Build automated bootstrapping and delivery pipelines

Advance self-service engineering technologies and approaches

Improve local development consistency and experience





Coach engineers and collaborate on technical designs

Requirements:

Seven to ten or more years of engineering experience

Engineering or related field bachelor’s degree

CI/CD infrastructure experience with multiple pipeline solutions

Experience with Kubernetes and distributed release management

AWS, infrastructure as code, and configuration management knowledge

Bring platform engineering leadership, Kubernetes expertise, and release automation experience to Motive’s developer productivity systems.
