Full Stack Developer (Java + Angular)

CGI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular, AWS, and cloud-native technologies to design, develop, and deliver scalable enterprise applications in cloud-native and hybrid environments. You will provide technical leadership, drive solution design, develop high-quality software, and solve complex distributed system challenges while mentoring team members and promoting engineering best practices. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring partners to work 5 days per week from the office. Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java/J2EE applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.

- Design and optimize complex SQL/PL SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects (Oracle preferred).
- Build and deploy applications in AWS cloud environments, including EKS, S3, and Lambda.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, uDeploy, and Git best practices.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to accelerate development, generate code, and automate testing.
- Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, QA teams,



and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development.
- Proven experience with Angular and modern front-end development practices.
- Robust experience with Oracle databases, SQL/PL SQL, stored procedures, data movement, and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of Hibernate, JPA, and ORM best practices.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EKS, S3, and Lambda.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems in distributed environments.
