Support children at Tay Shores as a part time School Age Early Childhood Educator using supervision, safety, and play-based learning.

The YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka seeks an educator for its Child and Family Development department. You will nurture children in a group of up to 15, independently supporting their safety, care, and development. The position includes communication with families, staff, and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care, first aid, medication, and dietary monitoring
- Supervise and actively engage up to 15 children independently
- Plan and implement play-based learning using YMCA Curriculum
- Communicate professionally with families, staff, and volunteers
- Support children with exceptional behaviours and additional needs

Requirements:

- Be at least 18 years old
- Hold First Aid and CPR Level C certification
- Provide a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check
- Meet immunization requirements under applicable public health guidance
- Be available Monday to Friday, 25 hours weekly
