Keep Dexterra facilities sanitary as a Casual Custodian, handling cleaning, garbage collection, and floor care across days, afternoons, or nights.
Reporting to the Account Manager, you will maintain common areas and washrooms while securing tools and equipment. This casual position covers short-notice shifts and scheduled vacations. Hours vary from zero to 37.5 according to site needs, and availability for all three shifts is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean common areas and washrooms thoroughly
- Collect and transport garbage safely
- Sweep and mop floors
- Vacuum carpets and high dust common areas
- Complete other assigned custodial tasks
Requirements:
- At least one year of cleaning experience
- Availability for days, afternoons, and nights
- Ability to communicate with supervisors, clients, and the public
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements and hazardous materials
