Build reliable consumer web experiences as a Senior Software Engineer at Affir, using React or Vue with JavaScript and TypeScript. This remote role is open to candidates across nine Canadian provinces. Within Marketing & Privacy Engineering, you will shape high-traffic logged-out web architecture and measurement systems. The work spans experimentation, Google Tag Manager, server-side GTM, conversion tracking, marketing APIs, observability, consent, cookies, and tagging. You will collaborate with Product, Marketing, Analytics, Data Engineering, and platform teams. Key Responsibilities:

Own quarterly team goals and guide engineers through ambiguous problems Partner on product decisions, technical constraints, risks, and trade-offs Identify and lead solutions for project, process, and technology issues Create metrics, monitor artifacts,



and support on-call operations Improve code review and design standards through writing and talks Requirements:

Four or more years developing web applications with React or Vue Proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript Hands-on experience with GTM, experimentation, analytics, and conversion tracking Experience designing reliable, performant consumer web systems Robust communication skills supporting global engineering collaboration Bring frontend architecture, instrumentation, and reliability expertise to Affir’s remote consumer web platforms serving measurable experiences.
