This Pharmacy Assistant supports technical prescription filling and administrative duties. You will receive prescriptions, process patient information, prepare products, and assist with Pharmacy Operations. The work helps increase the Pharmacist’s prospect to provide patient care while delivering superior customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive prescriptions and assess completeness under provincial requirements
- Process data entry, refills, pricing, and patient profile checks
- Fill prescriptions under Pharmacist supervision and complete accuracy checks
- Maintain inventory, process orders,



and remove expired medications
- Keep dispensary equipment, supplies, and work areas clean

Requirements:

- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Ability to interpret written prescriptions and Latin abbreviations
- Ability to recognize drug names and calculate dosages
- Ability to support clerical and administrative pharmacy functions
- Ability to perform assigned OTC Operations and cashier duties
