Support meaningful senior living programs with Cogir Senior Living through planning, resident engagement, and compassionate activity assistance. This hourly role pays $19.55.

Reporting to the Active Living Manager, the Active Living Aide helps plan, organize, and implement resident programs. The work includes daily activities, outings, records, assessments, and meal services. You will communicate with residents, families, volunteers, and department staff while supporting residents’ interests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and implement meaningful resident programs with department leaders
- Prepare, deliver, and evaluate daily activities
- Facilitate scheduled and pre-arranged resident outings
- Maintain assessments, evaluations, participation records, and charting




- Communicate upcoming events with residents, families, volunteers, and staff

Requirements:

- College diploma in Recreation, Leisure Studies, Gerontology, or equivalent
- Previous experience working with seniors
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Valid provincial driver’s license and Vulnerable Sector Check
