This Seasonal Package Handler position supports last-mile logistics by unloading freight, organizing sort setups, and preparing packages for delivery or Linehaul teams. You will handle shipments manually and with powered equipment, following sort plans and station layouts. The work requires collaboration, accuracy, and physical activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests
- Sort, scan, and handle parcels according to sort plans
- Stage sorted freight in designated load-out areas
- Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
- Complete cleaning, housekeeping, and safety inspections
Requirements:
- Availability for shift-based warehouse schedules
- Minimum availability of three days weekly
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or 23 kilograms
- Mandatory training and certification for power or manual jacks
- Ability to operate handheld devices and warehouse technology
