Job DescriptionAs the Shop Technician Level 1 you will have the chance to play a pivotal role in enhancing the operational efficiency of our facility and equipment maintenance processes.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain a clean and organized work area.Maintain the upkeep of the facility and yard.Utilizing SiteDocs daily to complete all required formsParticipate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiativesAssist in the inspection, repair, and maintenance of all RCD related equipment.Maintain accurate records of inspections,
maintenance and repairs of RCD equipmentAssist in the shipping and receiving of MPD/RCD equipment.Assist in Receiving on orders from vendorsDeliver and/or pick up supplies from vendors.Inspect all RCD equipment used and perform preventive maintenance checks and service.Maintain company issued tools and develop knowledge and skill in their use.Assist Shop Foreman with day-to‐day tasks as required.Assist Operations team with RCD equipment maintenance as required.Required Qualifications1 to 2 years' experience working in a shop environment.Mechanically inclined and able to implement mechanical knowledge and skills.Required Certifications:Valid drivers license with clean drivers abstractFirst AidFall arrestForkliftExcellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of maintenance processes and procedures, mechanical tools and equipmentAble to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines requiring minimal supervision.Organized, dependable and action orientated.Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel).
