Provide medication counseling and dosage adjustments as a Staff Pharmacist with Vancouver Island Health Authority. Rotating days off and multiple-site travel may apply.

Reporting to the Pharmacy Site Coordinator or designate, the Staff Pharmacist supports drug distribution and basic drug information. The regular full time position requires licensing or eligibility through the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia. Patient safety and continuous quality improvement guide the work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide drug distribution services across assigned pharmacy operations
- Deliver basic drug information to patients and care teams
- Adjust medication dosages according to patient needs
- Counsel patients regarding medications and their use




- Support patient safety and continuous quality improvement

Requirements:

- Licensed or eligible for licensing in British Columbia
- Organize and prioritize work effectively
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Work independently and within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Operate computers and related equipment using software applications
