Key Responsibilities:
- Receive written prescriptions and refill requests
- Input patient and prescription information into the computer
- Order, receive, and return pharmacy stock
- Check expiry dates and correct inventory records
- Communicate allergy interactions and billing information to pharmacists
Requirements:
- Completed accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or two years’ dispensary experience
- Solid work ethic and get-it-done attitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Kroll computer experience considered an asset
