Support young children with autism in Toronto as a full time Classroom Facilitator using ABA strategies and skill-building activities.

At SAAAC Autism Centre, the Classroom Facilitator Level 1 develops group sessions for children entering school. You will support communication, emotional regulation, social skills, functional routines, and pre-academic development. Collaboration with clinicians and clinical teams aligns goals and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement activities supporting children’s personal goals
- Use reinforcement, prompting, shaping, chaining, modelling, and fading
- Monitor behaviour and teach appropriate behaviours
- Record observations and communicate children’s daily progress




- Collaborate with families, clinicians, teams, agencies, and volunteers

Requirements:

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and College membership
- Or child studies degree with relevant experience
- One to two years working with preschool children preferred
- Knowledge of behaviour management and atypical development
- Current satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check
