English 1 is hiring English teachers (ESL/TEFL/TESOL) for full-time roles in China.

Role: English Teacher (ESL/TEFL), young learners aged 3-16

We welcome:

• Recent graduates and final-year students seeking an entry-level job


• Career changers from customer service, retail, hospitality, corporate training, communications, banking, IT, media or non-profit


• Experienced ESL, EFL, TEFL, TESOL and CELTA teachers

No teaching experience needed. We provide free TEFL certification, full training, ready-made lesson materials and visa sponsorship.

What you’ll do:

• Teach English to young learners aged 3-16 in interactive, high-energy classrooms


• Deliver Classroom Instruction and Language Teaching using English 1s award-winning curriculum and digital tools


• Build students literacy, speaking, listening and confidence in English


• Track student progress and give meaningful feedback to students and parents


• Coach, motivate and present language concepts clearly


• Join school events, cultural programs and community activities

What you’ll receive:

Finished your bachelors degree, or about to? This is a full-time, entry-level job open to any degree subject. Youll build professional skills in teaching, communication and presentation while exploring Asia.

You dont need a teaching background. If youve worked in Customer Service, Retail, Hospitality, Corporate Training or Communications and want to move into education, you are strongly encouraged to apply. Your transferable skills are exactly what great teachers use:

• Customer relations and client liaison: managing expectations and keeping families inform
