The Bakery Utility Clerk reports to the Bakery Supervisor or Bakery Manager. This position combines customer relations, bake-off oven operation, platter preparation, cake icing, stocking, and merchandise handling. You will help maintain product quality, price integrity, cleanliness, and safe department standards. The role also includes ordering, receiving, storage, and inventory support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle customer questions, comments, requests, and complaints professionally
- Operate bake-off ovens and complete bakery utility functions
- Prepare platters and ice cake names or messages




- Face displays while maintaining presentation and stock levels
- Clean fixtures, sales floors, and back stock areas

Requirements:

- Grade 9 or acceptable combination of education and experience
- Bakery retail or related retail experience
- Fluency in English
- Bakery product knowledge or experience
- Ability to follow food safety and occupational safety policies
