Provide one-to-one student support at Innisfail Middle School using educational assistance and complex-needs experience. This is a full-time prospect in Innisfail.

Chinook’s Edge School Division seeks an Educational Assistant for students in grades 5-8. The successful candidate will provide one-to-one support to a student requiring assistance with feeding and bathroom use. Preference goes to certified Educational Assistants with experience supporting students with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one educational support to a student
• Support the student with feeding
• Support the student with bathroom use
• Work within Innisfail Middle School’s grades 5-8 setting

Requirements:

• Educational Assistant certification preferred
• Experience working with students with complex needs preferred
• Experience providing one-to-one support preferred
• Ability to provide required criminal record check
• Ability to provide vulnerable sector check
