St. Joseph’s Health Centre Guelph seeks a Warewasher for production, hospital, outreach, cafeteria, and catering services. You will wash dishes, trays, pots, and equipment, then deliver clean items to designated areas. The position interfaces with Dietary Aides, Food Services staff, supervisors, and managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport food carts to various units within the facility
- Wash production, outreach, cafeteria, and catering dishes
- Strip and wash patient trays after meals
- Clean dish machines, equipment, work areas, and pot wash areas
- Follow sanitation, food safety, and Quality Assurance procedures
Requirements:
- Completed or enrolled in a Food Services Worker program
- Currently enrolled in an Ontario post-secondary program
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to organize daily work schedules flexibly
- Ability to work independently and in teams
