Support Queen’s Orientation Roundtable operations through scheduling, sponsorship coordination, and incident reporting in Kingston. Apply planning and communication skills across ORT.

The Assistant Director reports to the ORT Director and helps deliver the Office’s mandate and responsibilities. This role supports overall Faculty Orientation coordination, manages administrative tasks during the core planning period, and maintains communication with stakeholders. Responsibilities include equitable sponsorship coordination, meeting participation, event scheduling, and operational support for Orientation teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Attend weekly ORT and ORT Executive meetings
- Complete managerial administrative tasks from May through August
- Create schedules, including storage locker on-call coverage




- Coordinate equitable sponsorship with the Director and Coordinator
- Meet regularly with stakeholders and support incident reporting

Requirements:

- Sound planning, prioritization, and execution abilities
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
- Ability to identify performance measures and corrective actions
- Ability to delegate and monitor direct reports’ progress
- Legally able to work in Canada
