Operate paper-converting equipment for Spicers in Winnipeg, using accurate cutting and sheeting to meet customer requirements efficiently. Full time work reports to the Converting Supervisor.

Spicers is seeking a Machine Operator for its Winnipeg facility. You will prioritize orders, convert stock sizes, verify quantities, and prepare products for shipping. Training covers Guillotine, Strachan, and SHM roll paper sheeters with three-roll backstands.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prioritize cutting and sheeting orders for customer delivery requirements
- Operate converting machines accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate samples and retain customer skid specifications
- Maintain cutting and sheeting logs for Shipping
- Package, label, and address products correctly

Requirements:

- Secondary school diploma or equivalent
- One to three years of machine operating experience
- Experience with cutting and shrink wrapping operations
- Valid forklift and WHMIS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
