Benediction Community Church seeks a Kids’ Ministry Director for a one-year renewable contract beginning September 2024. Working 10 to 15 hours weekly, you will report to the lead pastor and shape your unique job description within six months. The work serves preschool children in KidSpace and elementary children in Kids’ Club, with leadership extending to Youth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create age-appropriate discipleship for children
- Facilitate Scripture learning, questions, relationships, and faith growth
- Care for kids and families through milestones
- Plan events connecting churched and unchurched kids
- Lead KidSpace, Kids’ Club, and Youth teams

Requirements:

- Agreement with the Statement of Faith
- Agreement with Ministry Leader qualifications
- Skilled children’s ministry experience is an asset
- Formal theological education is an asset
- Criminal record check and Plan to Protect certification
