- Stayuntilthelastchildleaves,everythingisputawayand anyothertasks fortheteacherare finished (be prepared for this to take more than 15 minutes!)
- Ifyouaregoingtobeabsent,findareplacementatleastaweekaheadoftime
- Incasesofsuddenillness,trytofindareplacementandifnot,lettheofficeknow by1:00pm

AssistingStudents

- Keepafullsetofclassnotesandensurethatstudentsgetanymissedwork
- Completeallofthehomeworkyourselfatleastoneweekaheadoftheclass
- Beforeclass,getstudentssettledandansweranyhomeworkquestions
- Duringtheteachingperiod,walkaroundclassandhelpstudentsorganizeandwritegoodnotes and ensure that they are on task




- Helpweakerstudentsduringclass-sitbesidethemifnecessary!

Attendance

- FortheAssistantTeacher,thisincludelateness,absents,andhomeworknotdone
- Phoneparentsifastudentisabsent15minutesafterclassstarts
- Letthemknowiftherehavebeenanymissedtestsorhandouts
- Ensurethateverythingisfine(i.e..parentsknowthechildisnotatclass)

Marking

- Some marking during the week. This includes True/False or multiple choice type questions, ensure that you have marked it by the next class and you are there to hand it to the teacher
